Thanks guys for your encouraging responses.
I went to the dealer today that I bought it from and they had a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan with 4000 miles that I almost traded for. ALMOST.
But I like the Savage too much and even though it is leaking, I can afford that better then what I have to pay for the difference on the Vulcan.
I am taking it to be serviced next week at a dealer that is closer then the one I bought it from. I am having it serviced for oil and tightening everything up since I don't know what the previous owner did for sure. The service guy said he could look at the motor and tell me what I was looking at for a repair cost. I may just bite the bullet this time and have them do it right.
